Carrie Amelia Harrison

	Carrie Amelia Harrison, age 87, of Pinckneyville, passed away Monday, May 10, 2004 at 4:40 p.m. in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	She was born September 17, 1916 in Perry County, a daughter of Marion and Maggie (Carter) Benedict.  She was united in marriage to Carl Harrison on April 1, 1935 and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1988.  Carrie worked for Forrest City Manufacturing.  She loved fishing, traveling and gardening.
	Survivors include two sons, Richard Harrison of Coulterville and Nelson Harrison of Shelbyville, Ky.; three daughters, Geneva Moss of Columbus, Ohio, Dorris 'Sis' Edwards of Swanwick and Donna Kuhnert of Pinckneyville; one brother, David Benedict of Hoyleton and one sister, Madge Hutchison of Pinckneyville.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Virginia Wright, Violet Chapman and Bertha Rennison; one brother, Maurice Benedict; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
	Funeral services were held at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on May 13 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Guthrie officiating.  Interment was in the Swanwick Bethel Cemetery.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Wednesday from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until services.
